Gruver ISD selected Hellas in 2013 to design/build a baseball and softball dream complex. The school floated a bond exclusively for this $2.7 million project.
The facility features baseball and softball fields, press boxes, landscaping, playground, grandstands, lights, concession stand, restrooms, and a parking lot to provide sports entertainment for the school district and surrounding communities.

Hellas was chosen due to the capability to design/build the entire project with their own resources, from start to finish, which was especially appealing to the district.
“This was an outstanding project,” Superintendent David Teal said. “It is a gorgeous, unique facility. Hellas Construction went above and beyond. It’s a showplace, not just a high school softball, baseball field. It’s not just a chain around a field, it has detail. The architectural elevation changes, and the use of materials makes it an experience to go to the ballpark. It’s architecturally interesting.”
