AUSTIN, TX (March 10, 2016) –
Hellas Construction’s organic infill is making its way onto playing fields across the country. Park Maitland School in Maitland, FL, has opted to install
with Geo Plus on their playing field. The decision to provide young students a recreation area with Geo Plus infill came following two successful installations at Park Maitland’s sister schools, St. Margaret Mary and St. James Cathedral School, in the Orlando area.
“We are so happy to see that people are embracing the organic infill,” said Reed J. Seaton, President and CEO of Hellas.
In addition to being an eco-friendly, all-organic alternative to traditional rubber infill, Geo Plus also significantly reduces surface temperatures by at least 40% by resisting heat absorption and retaining humidity. This cooling effect is especially useful in Florida’s high-heat communities.
Geo Plus Infill - Made from 100% environmentally friendly and organic materials, Geo Plus uses a combination of carefully selected, specially treated, organic coconut fibers and cork to ensure the highest level of sports performance.
