AUSTIN, TX (February 26, 2016) –
Hellas Construction partners with Argyle ISD to provide the entire community a great playing field with the latest technology for the best show in town.
Argyle ISD brought in head coach, Todd Rodgers, 13 years ago to build a coaching staff that would develop a winning football team. Rodgers built a program the right way – from the ground up - and now, Argyle ISD turns to Hellas Construction to build a top-notch playing field equipped with the latest technology for their athletes to continue to progress.
“We partnered with Hellas 8 years ago for an original synthetic turf install, a conversion from a natural grass to an artificial turf field. Now, we’re coming back to Hellas to reinstall Matrix turf; we’re very excited about continuing our partnership with Hellas. It’s a partnership that is very reliable as far as customer service, as well as a reliable installation of a great product,” said Rodgers.
Kicking off the 2016-2017 season, the Eagles will showcase their brand new field, fully equipped with Matrix Turf with Helix technology. Helix brings memory and tenacity, similar to that of a muscle fiber, which allows the turf to bounce back after use with minimized “fly-out” and optimized aesthetics.
In keeping Argyle’s philosophy – Hellas will start the installation from the ground up. Cushdrain® elastic layer will be paved-in-place over the foundation before the Matrix Turf with Helix is installed. Cushdrain improves safety for athletes by increasing shock absorption and decreasing concussions, while also improving the drainage of the field, reducing playing downtime due to inclement weather.
Matrix Turf with Helix technology and Cushdrain elastic layer are two state-of-the-art technologies, putting Argyle ISD’s field at the top of the game.
