Silverdale Stadium in Bremerton, Washington the district stadium for Central Kitsap School District home of Central Kitsap HS, Klahowya HS, and Olympic HS broke ground this week on replacing their existing turf with Velocity® Synthetic Turf and adding an epiQ Tracks® V300 structural spray on their current running track. Hellas has provided its services in Kitsap County at the Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, Bainbridge Island High School and will be breaking ground in mid-June at South Kitsap High School.
The football field at Silverdale Stadium will consist of Velocity® Turf with a Realfill™ infill system and new football goal posts. The D-Zones will have a new epiQ Tracks® S200 surface which consists of a bottom layer of polyurethane bound rubber granules then topped with a spray-applied coat of polyurethane and EPDM granules.
The first game of the fall football season for Central Kitsap High School at South Kitsap High School will be played on a new Hellas Matrix® Turf field with organic infill Geo Plus, on September 4th. Both fields will be under construction simultaneously by Hellas this summer. “We look forward to providing our products and services to another Pacific Northwest field,” says Jeff Bergevin, Vice President of the Northwest Region at Hellas. “We are excited to showcase the high quality fields Hellas builds,” he says.
